Escoria Oriental - Reggae de los Monegros

Escoria Oriental, es un grupo de Huesca que durante los años 80 nos dejo grandes aportaciones musicales y sobre todo muy buenos y gratos momentos, que han vuelto a reaparecer en el 2000.

Entre las canciones más conocidas del grupo tengo que destacar a "Reggae de los Monegros", "La muñeca muerta" o "Vente conmigo a la cama" que pertenecen al primer maxí disco que sacó el grupo en el año 1986, siendo un éxito en Aragón y arrasó en España.

"Reggae de los Monegros" es la canción que nos dejo el slogan "Aragón también tiene sed". Y su famosa estrofa "Planté 25 hectáreas de cannabis. Arranqué la remolacha. Por fin fui feliz."

Escoria Oriental hace una música a la que denominan agro-pop (sonido bodega), pasando por el Rock & Roll , Blues, Reggae, siempre con un buen sentido del humor socarrón.

Bonnie Tyler -Total Eclipse of the heart

La canción "Total Eclipse of the heart", pertenece al quinto álbum de nombre "Faster than the speed of night" que la galesa Bonnie Tyler publicó  en el año 1983. La canción fue escrita y producida por Jim Steinman. El vídeo musical esta inspirado en la película del año 1976, Futureworld y fue filmado en el Sanatorio de Holloway que destaca por su arquitectura gótica.

"Total Eclipse of the heart"fue lanzado primero  como single,  promocionando al disco "Faster than the speed of night", llegando a ser un éxito tanto en las listas inglesas como estadounidenses así como número uno de ventas.

Bonnie Tyler fue nominada a los  Grammys como Mejor Interpretación Femenina de Rock por su canción  "Faster than the speed of night" y Mejor Interpretación Femenina Pop por su canción "Total Eclipse of the heart". Ganó también  el premio Variety Club en 1983.

Queen -I want to break free

"I want to break free", es una canción del grupo británico de rock Queen, que fue publicada en el año 1984 en el disco "The Works". El vídeo es una parodia de una serie de TV británica de la época, que se llamaba "Coronation street" caracterizándose los miembros del grupo Queen de mujeres. Por lo que les valió que el vídeo fuera censurado en  la MTV en Estados Unidos, y como contrapartida Queen  no incluyó a EE.UU en su gira.
El vídeo de "I want to break free", estuvo sin ser emitido en EE.UU hasta el año 1991.

El disco de "The Works" fue un éxito ya que el grupo volvía al hard  Rock.
